Mahindra  has launched Marazzo  in India as Mahindra’s all-new MPV. The pricing for the Marazzo starts from Rs. 9.99 lakhs and goes upto Rs. 13.9 lakhs (ex-showroom). In this price range, it is more expensive than the Ertiga but also on other hand cheaper than the Innova Crysta. The Marazzo is an eight-seater which was developed by Mahindra’s North American department with inputs from Pininfarina and Mahindra’s design centre in Chennai.

Engine:

Talking about its engine, it sports up with newly developed 1.5-litre turbocharged diesel four-cylinder engine which can result in 121bhp at 3500rpm and 300Nm of torque from as low as 1750rpm.The engine is great and has been newly designed in north America.There is no petrol or automatic even as an option at present. It has six speed manual transmission.

Exterior:

The Marazzo has decent and stylish looking body which is designed proportionally well over the body.Mahindra has itself claimed that its body has been designed like a Shark. The grille carries Mahindra’s vertical-slat design but is modified to look like shark teeth. We can notice an ample chrome on the fascia along with black inserts.  The front bumper has stylish air damps while the twin-barrel swept-back headlamps makes car look aggressive. We have LED DRLs on the fog lamps with chrome inserts and lots of black treatment. The MPV sits on 17-inch alloy wheels with disc brakes on all four tyres. The large shark-fin-like tail lamps dominate the rather simple-looking rear. The overall design of the Marazzo is aggressive but not at that much level and the rear is simple.

Interior:

The inside of the car is packed with new style dashboard and piano black colour finish. We have 7 inch of dsiplay at dsahboard which displays info and also for controls ,and also we have gear lever down.The middle row seats can be folded flat according to convenience and the third row appears to have more spaces.The buttons are designed well and are  placed within our hand reach. Its low NHV level makes it the quitest cabin in its class. The new feature in this MUV is its longitudinally-roof-mounted rear Air Conditioner which claims to make the cabin the fastest cooling one in its class.
